Is the golf price guide on the front page still accurate?

Has the golf gone up in value since this was put on the page. Are MK1's getting rarer every day? I see loads chavved up and modified or wrecked. Is a decent originalish example with avergae miles still worth the same as it was 3 years ago?

Personally, I would say its still correct. Prices fluctuate and at end of the day someone will only pay what they think a car is worth, but on original, standard cars I think it's still a good price guide.
