i just got a mk1 campaign for 160 quid

how happy im i to buy a green mk1 campaign for 160 it soild and loads of spare bits with it. the seats have no  wear at all !!!!!!!  but they have axed the roof and now as to be broke for bits as the i,d, as gone  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:   went up the street with it on trade plates and it drives so well. one of the best ones ive drove.as a shame to give it the chop al it needs is a roof skin and a pain no welding at all! and it would go stright thougth a test im not kidding. well that one less campaign now  :banghead: not unless i find a really rotton shell i could save it  :wink:  :wink:  ive got pics if somebody will put them up for me thanks noddy

You jammy sod Noddy! Sounds like a right good find! Can you not repair roof? Or perhaps turn it into the first Campaign Cabby!! :lol:

Would love to see pics, I can't hose, why don't you stick them on photobucket?

Please don't break it just because of the roof, if the rest of the car is as good as it sounds.. seriously consider a new roof skin, I wouldn't have thought that would be too much work and it's been done a few times!

for ?160 though that is an absolute bargain!  :clap:

pics on there way mate i can nt put it back on the road as its got no id reg as gone back to dvla  :cry: and i could put a skin on in 2 hours of so its easy but i need an id for it  :cry:

What do you mean "you have no id"?

How do you know its a campaign?
Has it got a VIN number?
Has it got a number plate?

There was a MK1 like this going through  http://www.universal-salvage.com/ about 4 weeks ago . Keep an eye on the web site local to you . That MK1 has some auction scribble on the windscreen…? Bargains are still out there …….
