I hate my Golf.

I hate my Golf.

No, I really do!

I've only had it a couple of years but must have spend the purchase price on it all over again in the space of that time if not more! When I got it she looked perfect but soon after I noticed that it needed a little 'tweeking'.

When will I ever finish it? To be honest it doesn't look bad and the wife lets me get on with it but I just can't stop adding, improving and generally tinkering with the damn thing, it's bleeding me dry.

Anybody else got the same disease?

Tian :banghead:

yep, worked out what my current project is going to cost - around 12k.

that's 6x the purchase price and i'm 18

i decided i wanted to do the car and decided at the same time that there wasn't much point investing a few grand into a car that i'd half like, so i'm going all out to build my dream car.

1983 Polo CL - daily

1984 Golf G60 Syncro - sold

1989 Rallye Golf - sold

1992 Corrado G60 - crushed

1989 Polo C - chopped and crushed

1991 309 Style - crushed
