I just don't " get " videos like that. What was the point in filming it at all ?
and ZERO points to putting in a van made of fibreglass, the police would burst a blood vessel if they saw that.

Would have thought the Luton would be well overloaded with that in it :?
Pity it didn't have a tail lift as that would have made it much easier to load
And is there another video somewhere with the bloke reversing it out after being sat in it the whole time it was in the Luton after not being able to open the doors????

amatures
or should that be idiots, that little van will be well over weight and theres nothing to strap the car in so could and would move about inside. Most vans and trucks are fibre glass sided to save weight so that really isn't the issue but would you want to trust your mk1 all the way home in a rental van with only the hand brake to stop it sliding around inside? I think not.

Just one question:
How did he get out?! :dontknow:
If you do a search on that google video for "mk1" there are a few clips of a black mk1 doing castle hill climb

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

Transporting your golf!
What was so special about it that it needed transporting anyhow? Sorry to seem a little negative! It looked more likely to damage the car than driving it! :?

I think it might be his track day car. He might not have the car insured or road legal even.

if I spent loads of time and money on any car I would at least hire a decent transporter that could hold and secure my car safely.
