historic car tax, save ?170 a year!

Just saw this in PPC mag today, its a petition to bring back the rolling 25 year tax exemption rule!

something extremely relevent to a lot of us and more all the time!

Bert, the new engine is almost exactly the same as the last - a 1.6 SB code GTD engine the main difference being this has a garret T2 instead of a K14, its pretty much up and running again now, but I'm having major cooling issues - think I'm gonna have to get a mahoosive custom one built.

I'll have to take some new pics soon as I've got new wheels on too now 8)

any probs with yours? what rad are you using and do you have a front mount intercooler?

im using a standard rad,which is new,new water pump,G12 antifreeze,new thermostat and fan switch,im running a T3 turbo with no intercooler yet,im getting it taxed 1st may so ill be giving it a thrashing  :wink:  ?135 fully comp insurance as a modified car  :y:

I have signed, Pratical Classic worked out the tax lost by doing this and it was very small, can't remember the amount.

only thing is…the more people who sign, the more tax they'll see as being lost… maybe I worry too much!

Signed and it would be nice gesture as the loss to the treasury would be minmial. Although the same could be said about IHT I doubt Stalinist Gordon Brown will do it though!
