Merry Christmas!
I have been involved in a few of the events this year, the AGM, NEC classic car show etc and I would just like to say how much I appreciate all the hard work put in from the people who made this happen, From nothing, we now have a great site, annual events of our own, even groups of friends meeting at vw shows up and down the country! Next year will be even better as the regional meets get better towards the summer! If you get chance to go to any events / meets, then please do…You are a member of the fastest growing car club ever! Wahooo!
Best wishes…Walt!

Best of all it clean 'family' site (and thats from someone who's on his 2nd Hairyarse language warning!!)…. ps with a name like that how can you tick people off !!!
Its a good site with helpful members and a lot of experience to impart.
I would like to echo Walts words (except the ones about the ladies from the nursing home) in my delight at meeting some top lads at the meets locally and at Gaydon.
Roll on 2006, especially 25th February when me life begins… at 40 8O !!
Cheers to you all.

I did offer to change it by Deed Poll but was deemed to be (just ) the right side of the fence!!
The site is developing nicely though and I see 2006 being a great year. A lot of time has been spent putting in the foundations and next year we can move on with more events and a much greater presence for our club!
Cheers

I can't say how much I've enjoyed this site.
I've been a member for a year now and I am on my second MK1.
I would like to thank every that has contributed to making the club what it is…. a fun, friendly, informative place full of like minded people with a passion for the coolest car on the planet! I believe my knowledge of mk1's has improved tremendously and I've made some pretty cool mates on the way.
I'm really looking forward to all the events planned for 2006 especially continuing to kick the South West Miniatures arse's in the regional meet championship. NWM CHAMPIONS
Roll on camping, Germany and Gaydon 06.
Peace out! 8)
I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday
