Hi Guys,

When buying engine parts from GSF for an 1988 Mk1 GTI Cabby, do you just buy parts for the early MK2 Golf GTI??

No, most parts are still mk1. There are some cross over parts but you're better off just asking for what you want and tell them it for an '88 cabby
