Got my work cut out haha!

I have recently bought a 1979 1600 gti small light.

It needs a lot of work to get it back to life!
So i decide to have a look around this site and i stumble on the links page and click on

I have a look in the rust in peace gallery only to find my car on the third page haha!
Apparently it has the wrong steering wheel and gear knob!
I think i know which wheel i need to track down but i am not sure what gear knob i need. Can anyone show me a pic of what i am looking for?

i think they have the gearnob like a golfball , mine has anyway and its a early one , seems i have the wrong steering wheel to   . some of them golfs in RIP look good to me  :cry:

Ah i have a few of those golf ball gear knobs somewhere!

Just wondered where the original pic came from to see if i could work out how long it had been in its current state!
