Got (another) Mk1 Golf - hurrah!!
Well I now have two Mk1 Golfs and a Mk1 Polo sitting on my driveway after this weekends acuasition.
Just got back from collecting my new Mk1 Golf from Devon.
It's black, it's a 1.8 Campaign GTI and it was originaly built by BRM (Brian Rickets Motorsport). It's got the big master cylinder, braided brake hoses, Mk2 16v front and rear brakes, eibach suspension, poly bushes, Neuspeed anti roll bars and strut braces, single wiper, bee sting ariel, clear front indicators, a combination of Infinity and Pioneer speakers, a Magnex stainless steel exuast, TSR 4-1 branch stainless exhaust manifold, etc, etc, etc…
It pulled 98bhp at the wheels yesterday on the TSR rolling road which, according to the operator, equates to over 130bhp at the flywheel. It revs till you would not believe and is a very very very useful road weapon.
Took it round to my parents tonight and my Dad took it out for a blast and was as impressed with it as I was (he drives Mk1's faster and harder than I do too!!!)
So, got a Red on and a Black one, just need Green, Blue, Silver and White to complete the set (although I'm rapidly running out of space! - lol)
Pictures to follow (once it's light and I've had chance to wash off 680 miles of grime).

Drove about 1200 miles in total - swapped my BMW E30 318iS for the car - had to drive to Devon to pick it up. Fantastic weekend though!!
Took a quick pic on my phone this morning but it's poor quality and the car is very very dirty. Going to take some proper pics after a marathon polshing session…
