did this come with one Mk1 GTi Original Beesting aerial

ive came across a link on ebay stating Mk1 GTi Original Beesting style aerial im just wondering if any mk1s came with beesting aerial?

No, mk'1 s didn't, wing mounted.
The mk2 gti did, to tell if it was a factory fitted one was to remove aerial from roof, original would be a square hole, whereas modified would be circle

Mine has a bee-sting style aerial at the front of the roof. This was a dealer fit option along with a panasonic tapel player and amplifier. So maybe he means a dealer fitted aerial. Hope this helps.
