costs of being a car zealot
doesn't include ins/tax/mots.
i could have bought a brand new car for the amount i've spent on just the ones i could find… ok it would have been a kia picanto but still!
at the same time, i can't say i've squandered the money as it's all noticable and needed parts
the things we do for our religion eh?
anyone else totted up and thought they should double check their sanity rating?

BEWARE KY05 UCO, blind and deaf white haired driver of red transit, avoid at all costs, he thinks running cars on to the verge is ok. i'm fine, car's fine, mood and make up not so good.

I probably drop more cash at classic car auctions then I spent on my education, but it's good to have a hobby.

Only recently have I actually realised how much cash i've got if I actually focus it somewhere positive.
Absolutley nothing wrong with having a 2k car that owes you 4k+… At least you have something to show for it!!

Ohhhhhhhhh yes. Me too. It's a constant battle for me to justify holding onto the old Golfy. Total love/hate relationship since I got this last one. Currently love.

My Gold mk1 I've had for 10 years has cost me about 1.5K tops all in.

Although I do everything myself and they're are/were voth daily drivers in all weathers.
