Nice one prowler. If I'm honest, not one has jumped out for me yet and said 'pick me!' but theme looks good.
I would say the font style on no4 for the 'MK1' looks a bit too 'XR3' for me!!

I'd be more tempted to stick this one in my car than the other two…
Ok - dont know why that didnt work but it was the second one I was referring to!

They need to be MUCH simpler, otherwise nobody would entertain the thought of putting them on their cars!

I am no graphic designer, but my comments:
- Some of those "Mk1" fonts are too '80s Ford. Does anyone have access to the actual '70s or '80s VW fonts (like used for "Golf")? I did but wiped it from my PC.
- Should we stick to 2 or 3 colour to keep the costs down?
- I prefer more of a 3:1 aspect ratio to keep at the top or bottom of the rear window

I like the last one most, but agree with the point about fonts and they do look a bit XR3 8O. I also lost the VW fonts. I got them from a site called the VW Shrine, but it appears to have ..er.. disappeared.
We could use the serif font that is used for Volkswagen and Golf on the back badges if we could find something close enough…. Perhaps we could also pick up the website colour scheme too.
Might have a play tonight too. Well done prowler though!
Cheers,
Drew.

You missed out the dripping blood, chains and 'decent into hell' stuff that I recall from some of my LP covers…
However… managed to find the VAG fonts….. http://w1.111.telia.com/~u11101119/VWFONTS.EXE
In case you're worried about downloading a .exe… I scanned it and it is fine. It's a self extracting file which contains 6 fonts.
Cheers,
Drew.

I would post some ideas, but im about as artistic as a 2 year old child. The main thing is that it has the site url on it imo.

I quite like the second one from your first post Prowler.
As previous post to me said, as long as it has the url on it that is most important.
My writing terrible so god knows what my artist impressions would be like. Will have to decline doing one myself.

I think something simple like the line drawings on the http://www.wagenwheels.co.uk/ site look good, would be cheaper to print as well, with maybe an added VW logo.
