cleaning your equipment!
how do you clean yours????
been cleaning my camping beds today, just chucked them in the bath with some washing powder then give them a scrub with some shampoo.
i've gotta give the sleepingbags a wash, whats the best way to do them?
they cost nearly ?100 each. don't fancy buying new ones if i screw them up.
so how do you clean your camping gear??

bang em in the washer mate.
(or take em to the dry cleaners)
if you look close there is washing instructions on them.

Can't remember last time the camping gear was washed. Saying that we don't use it very much. As novocaine said there should be some sort of instructions for you to follow on them.

Settled In

Throw it in the loft after use. Come time to use it -discover large areas of mould and foulness. Throw it out and buy new stuff

No desparate need to clean it, unless you've stored it wet and its gone mouldy. So, once you have returned from camping (which invariably involves at least one wet day), put it up in the back garden and let it dry out on a sunny day, then fold it up - so its all ready for next year!
