Well I have sold my golf A991MWU

Its going to a good home, he is a member of the forum and im sure he will be on here from time to time.
He also actually owned the car back in 1988! How cool is that.

So after seven years on here and the Campaign reg before it I am hanging up my 'P' slot key ring and taking leave of the mk1 world.

I have sold it mainly as I need the room for my expanding business and when I go global…….you need to hope!    Maybe I will get another.

Appreciate it may not be practical to keep the mk1 anymore, bet you'll miss it, but at least you looked after it well over the years and its gone to someone who will respect it as much as you did.

will be sad to see you go :cry:  you do know that in a few years you will see a Mk1 going down the road and you will turn round to the person next to you and say  "I had one of them, wish I still had it now" just like some of the folks you have met since you had yours up and running.

Hey, not sure yet? I'm thinking possibly a mk2 small bumper 8v because that's where it all started for me back in 1996. But what ever it will be it will need to be very inexpensive.

Still working for my self and now looking for a mk2! Late E F or early G, 3dr small bumper 8V. If anyone knows of one…..😁

But I'm back here hoping to find who's my Campaign is doing if the new owner is a member and maybe look for my other campaign I had for a little while.

Prices have moved upwards

Yes I see prices are strong, dare say my mk1 is worth 10k more than I sold it for!
But on the flip side I make more money now so it's all good…
