How great, been driving that bloody XR3 for no more than 3 days, and one of my so called mates has just called me a CHAV, and to think i bought a car off him in the past. Anybody got a spare Burberry cap for sale or swap for a tidy Xr3?

It  is cheap. Nice list of cars you got their, tails off a bit at the end though don't it? How'd i get a list of my cars up like that anyway?

It gets me from A to B quick enough. Sometimes via diversion C... :mrgreen:

I'd be really spoilt for choice, the two Vauxhals are supposed to be very well developed cars, unlike Vws last decade of cars. the wifes got a Mk3 8 valve, and thats great for journeys, but i just miss the rattles and the buzz you get from 80's hot hatches

I had a Mk3 Colour Concept once. Best seats ever (heated leather Recaros)! Mk3 not as bad as most make out, I could drive it as fast as a standard Mk1 through the bends. Though you're right it is no GTi in execution!

I had a go in the XR3 that was the opposite to my car in the 'Top Dog' show. It was quite nice really, not as bad as was made out. Lots more fun than modern cars, nicely rough and ready.

Bit sluggish with the old 96 BHP CVH lump, but ok.

God i feel so much better for seeing those! Do these people honestly think they are making it look better?

It amazes me what they do to their cars - and aside from looking crap, they always do such a bad job!

when someone fired my daily drive mk2 gti,i bought a 90 spec mk4 3i,twas immaculate,in the filler cap area,rear arches,everywhere!

REALLY ENJOYED DRIVING AND LOOKING AFTER IT TO BE HONEST ops: ,how the hell did my caps lock come on!? :dontknow:

then bought the sportline,got a raddo g60 now!
dont know if i wanna keep it,i like the ol' mk1 cab :?
