I know Chortle has done a few cabrio roof replacements.. I would pick his brains if I were you.. I doub't you are ever gonna be happy until you have a new roof on it and every penny spent on fixing the knackered one is a penny that could have gone towards a new one.. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, although its not really bad luck is it?.. Its a disease of society and yet another failing of this country.. We need stiffer sentencing and zero tollerance policing to keep these scum bags off the streets.. :x

You need to glue the patch and slide it under and between the tear, then stitch it together from underneath so the stitch lines are underneath.
Never looks pretty though.
Did the idiot go through the interliner and top pad as well as the headliner?
Have you got some pictures to show the damage?
Some people doing damage like this is so annoying.
I agree with Walt, you really need a new top.
As for the other bits like the top pad and interliner etc I can supply.
A lot cheaper doing this your self as the costs of a company would be very expensive.
