Calendar 2012

I know it's only just August but I'm looking to put the 2012 Calendar together promptly in time for the Classic Car Show at the NEC in November.

If you are unfamiliar with it, the Calendar is a limited edition run of 100 that I sell every year on behalf of the club. I'll post up an example of it so you can see what it looks like but it may change format this year so I'll let you know when that's finalised.

If you have any images of your car or a car you have permission to use please email me the high res UNRETOUCHED image as soon as you can. All cars are good enough providing they are a MK1 Golf. It does not have to be a prize winning car, I'm after daily drivers, SORNs and projects. If you have a vintage image that needs to be scanned in tell me and I'll scan it for you and post it back. I need all cars for all seasons and all environments be it detail, whole car, interior, engine or barn find. I don't care.

This year I really want to represent the whole Golf family so let's see what you have and if it was taken at the AGM let me know as I'll be picking the best AGM shot for July and that person will receive a FREE calendar.

I've grabbed a few images from another thread to get you started but please email me your original file. Images taken via photobucket are no use to me.

Took a lot of pics a while ago which turned out way better than I thought.

Just sent some pictures over.

There the original shots in full resolution ect.

Let us know if they went through ok & were able to be viewed in original size ect.

Last time i sent pics via email they wouldnt send.

To those who have sent images over I thank you. Norm one or two of yours are spanking mate so nice one.

I've been working on the Membership Pack so I haven't had a chance to look at all of them yet but please keep them coming in.

As already mentioned hi res only and the original image untouched.

There's no size limit I'm aware of but I would suggest keeping your email under 10Meg and sending multiples if necessary.

The calendar is only as good as you guys make it so please get your cameras out and get shooting!

Tian they were the best of the bunch (my opinion)

Wow that is a big email, there is no limit on Tians email address but it might be wise to split that a few times if he did not get it.

Yeah & I zipped it    it was 3 pics from my DSLR.

non of my photos are on a good camera. i just use my phone.
all the hi res pics were taken by other people so i can't send them really.
i'll send some in for the next calender

Just reduces the file size to attach on an email.

I guess it compresses the file format usually has the .zip file extension.
