Cabriolet Buyers Guide Online

Many of you will already have seen the Cabriolet's Buying guide courtesy of one of our resident wordsmiths… Prowler. It's an excellent doc, please refer all 'how do I find a good 'un' type queries to this doc.

You can find it by going to 'Home' (at the top left) and then you will see it under the guides section on the right.

Many thanks to Prowler for this excellent piece of work.

Cheers,

Drew.

A top document. I reviewed it after buying my cabrio as I didn't know it existed at the time. I've since been around my car and crossed checked things with the document - fortunately I got a good car with hardly any of the problems listed in the doc. Hat's off though chap - top top document!

No! VW sent the tintop standards + GTi's to Karmann who chopped the roof off and strengthened it.

All cabrios are Karmann.

….a good point which should be explained more clearly in my next update, many thanks…..when I get my computer to connect to my host correctly (had to do a clean install of windows and it's STILL not right, but at least I can post on here again - I HATE THIS MACHINE !!!)

Many thanks for the comments folks. I have changed the first page to include a 'request' for donations to the Club. It's had just over 300 'hits' - some linked from this site, the rest from my own site.

Owning a Mk1 cabby is a vertical learning curve…
