BBS alloys

Hi all quick question anybody, been offered some 15" BBS alloys. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking at paying for them? Thanx

RAs, RMs, …what type of BBS? Depends on condition, with tyres or not, etc

They are in good condition no kerbings just need a little clean and polish, with tyres. They are mkII GTi genuine bbs the multispoke cross ones.

Yep, about ?80-?100 is ok. Those are the BBS 'RA' type, quite common, but I think the most attractice mk1/mk2 rim! I have a set myself.

Depends where you buy them - if ebay then be prepared for ?120-?150 for RA's.  They do look nice on Mk1's though ……….

The set off a late mk2 (90 spec) can fetch upto ?200 at shows less tyres
(i have a set on my mk2 16v), but most second hand wheels i've come across are bent, i've just forked out nearly ?800 on and having my rm split rims refurbed (mirror polished outer rims new bolts ,tyres ,and repainted ) only to find out when the tyres were fitted  they're bent :cry:   :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:  8O
so i gotta fork out another ?80 to have 2 straghtened

if you can get them on a wheel balencer so it'll show how bad they are

i bought some RAs for 150 no tyres! they were mint not a scratch but r being refurbished 2 have been done already! cant get the other two off the car as its on axle stands!!

painting the centers black and polishing the outer rim! gonna try and get hold of those chrome bbs centers off the RKII split rims they do!

CANT WAIT!
