Bad noise coming from car
Just thought ide let you have a laugh at my expense Driving round chi earlier really bad squeeling sound every time i accelerated and stopped.
Thought best pull over and check guesing brakes had a good nosey round engine breaks etc NOTHING.
Starts driving again looked down in passenger footwell at something moving and squeeling just bought a mint mk1 polo in green(matchbox) from carboot and its wheels are squeeling as i accelerated and braked DOH nice car though chrome bumpers etc completely original
glad no one was in car.

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

The MK1 polo started out life as the Audi 50, I think? anyone know about this?
Dunno who this one belongs to? Pretty good example here I took at inters 2003.

Yep, nice pic too! The Audi 50 was a little plusher than Polo ended up, but it didn't sell well as an Audi. Not until the A3 did Audi go back to selling hatchbacks.
