Anyone know how to replace the bulbs...........
On my A4 Avant 2002 model !!!! I know I could go and search the net for this, but thought I would try my luck here first.
The worst thing about this is that I can rebuild engines, respray cars, do maintenence as needed, but give me a modern car, and I can't figure out how to get to the rear brake bulb to change the damn thing !!!!
Any ideas, except a hacksaw and a hammer would be appreciated.

Yo
Mine's a '96er but since it shouldn't be much different, I'll have a peep tomorrow but to quote Mr. Haynes…
"Open the access flap at the rear luggage area trim on the side concerned. Undo the securing screws and remove the accessory rack.
Compress the right hand and left hand retaing clips towards the centre of the light unit and withdraw the bulb holder…..and…as noted in previous post "depress and twist the bulb then withdraw it from the bulb holder""
The accessory rack usually contains the car phone transceiver unit and other audio bits and bobs…I am assuming that mine has such a rack although there' probably nowt in it.
If this works, you can spray my GerTIe in a year or three !
Cheers
