Any members on here in ClubGTI??

Just thought i'd ask as the North west where I live (Warrington) seems to be very busy and active within the VW scene!!
I'm quite heavilly (sp?) involved within ClubGTI myself, but I like it on here aswell for my Mk1 info!!

I attend the Manchester CGTI meet every month

I'm gonna come to your Warrington one aswell Paul as there seems to be loads of nice cars from there, they came to visit the Manc one once.

Yeh we've been over there before (I thought I recognised you)!!  
We go to most of the local regions through the year TBH!!
Our meet is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2pm, we are changing location at the moment so keep in touch nearer the time and i'll fill you in with the info!! :wink:

I'm a member of club GTI, but haven't been to a meet yet.  There is one in Gloucester first Tuesday of the month

I used to be a member 10 years ago. I stopped renewing when the club became a bit too diverse for my main Mk1 interest. Still keep an eye out for the odd Mk1 post now and again.

Used to be on teh forum a fair bit, not so much now, I got bored of the squabbaling so really only use the tech sections.

CGTI forum is still the best forum for 16V advice tbh 8)  :mrgreen:

I also ran the Harrogate club GTi meet for a while.

I'm still on CGTI but as I've now got a Mk1 I'm using this site more and more often. I will get around to attending a meet as soon as I can get the damned car to run  

lol little me is on there but dnt get much of a chance to get on to forums.

Any meets in the grimbsy area for mk1?

I used to be a member, some say I AM a "Member"   ,however , I have been banned from Club GTI….no idea why…. Maybe it's because I spoke my mind?…… :dontknow:

 i remember getting chewed up as a forum newbie on a certain ask eddie thread.

good fun tho,   a steep learning curve u mite say.

so im well happy that sort of thing doesnt happen here.

I'm also a member.. but i much prefer it on here…. everyone doesn't seem to be as jumped up as some of the ppl on there!!! (good for gettin little bits of info tho)

I recently signed up on their forum for a bit of variety, etc and have also experienced the "wrath" of the "established member" (for example see here. It seems that some of the posters on there all have poorly developed Superegos and don't know how to say sorry…..
