Villa for fourth?  City drew and Tottenham got beat… up the Arsenal (no jokes please family site and all)   !!!  Liverpool V Arsenal today at 4pm…. go on the gooners!!!!

And we done it!!! 3rd spot with a game in hand… 3pts from Man Utd and 6pts from Chelsea… back in the mix!!!  

Villa look good in their last five… won 3 and drawn 2… Tottenham won two drawn two and lost one… it's close for 3rd and fourth spots going into xmas!!  Another game for most clubs on Tuesday/Wednesday….. Tottenham V Man City is the big match… I'll be watching that and Arsenal V Burnley on the same screen Wednesday

Gooners beat the villa 3-0 today and I'm soooo chuffed!!!!  Not because I'm a big head Arsenal fan but because I thought we'd struggle and would like to see villa in the top four so was delighted to get 3pts against a top flight team.  Villa for fourth  :wink: …. Arsenal for 3rd or 2nd… we're only 4 behind Chelsea with a game in hand mind

Not with Fabregas and Van Persie out mate.  That was evident… Fab came on… scored twice and hobbled off… we were ok without him but the game changed when Fab came on.  With him and Van Persie I'd say a title challenge.  With him on the bench for a few games (looks like Pompey and Bolton) and Van Persie not back until April… got to be happy with 2nd or 3rd.  I'm being realistic.

Wenger said we just didn't turn up either in attack or defence.  I don't agree I thought that was a good game going forward… we had more of the ball and more attempts.  Our defence was appauling though so every break the scum had looked like it left us for dead.  Vermaelen carrying an injury and the normally fast Clichy was not up to speed yet from coming back from injury.  The defence was just too high up the pitch pressing for a goal… simple as that.  The scum always looked like scoring on the breaks.  The best thing for us from that game was that we actually took regular shots outside the box for the first time this season  :roll: .  Chelsea then Liverpool… all to play for in those!!  Still Bendtner coming back is at least another option up front in Van Persie's abscence.
