Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car. Used to own it and am trying to track it down.
Lhasha Green - Original Condition - 1983 sold in 2003
Thanks, Rob.

No spare keys and I am not asking for an address. Could have got that from the V5 details when I sold it on.
You must really trust yourself to think we all want to nick cars.
If anyone has any proper details on how I could contact the owner - Named as Geoff in the register.
Spent alot of time and money on it and wanted to know how it was getting on.

pedders was just pulling your chain mate, dont take it too seriously!
Can you not just write to the adress on the V5?
Alternatively, you can write to the DVLA, pay a small fee and they will tell you the current owner's name and address.
In the short term, the RAC website and the DVLA website will tell you if the car is taxed and on the road.
HTH, marsredgti.

Guys,
I see what you mean, should have seen the lighter side. Sold the car in 2003 and now regret it like mad. Have just got a GTI Cabrio 1985 (two weeks ago) and am getting right back into the old Mk1's again.
Hunted out the old car on the register and am curious that is all.
Cheers Pete, am just starting on the forums and will get upto speed soon enough.

Your joking? Fantastic to hear it is still OK. I live in Shields and that is where I did it up and made it like new. Hope it is all still going good?
Whats the mileage now. Was around 153000 I think when I sold it. Wish I hadn't now.
Cheers Rob.

The car ok it now has 183000 on the clock. It is in need of a bit of tlc. The paintwork is still sound but the mechanicals need a bit of work and the underneath has a few holes and a bit of rust. Pleanty to keep me busy. I have posted some pics in the newbies section.
