No fuel from the injectors. :(
Anyway it would kick up, but die off so i assumed it wa a fuel problem. I had just replaced the pump and relay, but checked and they are functioning correct. Well i think, I'm getting 12 volts while the starter motor is being engaged but as the engine isnt kicking up the volts drop off. Is this right?
If this is not right it might explain the problem that is there is no fuel coming from any of the 4 injectors, but there is fuel coming from the 5th injector. Very strange?
I have tried the injector test by shorting the two pins on the fuse board but even then there is no fuel coing from them.
Does anyone have an ideas what could be causing this, as I doubt 4 injectors are seized up.
cheers Luke.

If you are brave enough, you could disconnect neg on battery, short out relay, hold up plate with the magnet, remove spark plugs and then hold neg terminal on the battery and watch the fuel fill up the bores! it doesn't take long

also if no fuel is getting to the filter i would assume its the fuel pipes at fault correct?
and if it is then it is likely to be a sticky metering head?
cheers

could you explain how i would wash the metering head?

If fuel is not getting to the metering head, it could be the pipes, pump, tiny in-line filter or a blockage within the tank (eg dirt/rust).
If fuel is arriving at the metering head but its not reaching the injectors, then it needs a clean, or replacing, as detailed below. Once you take off the plastic air ducting pipework you'll see the flap, that would be a good place to clean up first.

Just thought it was strange how the cold start injector sprayed but the other 4 didnt.

ok, well i ahve had the plastic cap off and it all moves freely, and i will check on fuel actually reaching the filter but i ahve a tiny leak half way between the pump and filter so i assume fuel is getting somewhere near (yes i know i have to replace the fuel lines anyway lol) so might be the fuel filter.

That tiny leak will severely affect the pressure reaching the metering head, thus explaining why fuel cannot squirt from the (mechanical) injectors (but is fine from the 5th injector, which is electrical). Obviously, you need to fix this because you cannot drive around with a fuel leak, especially from a high pressure line.
