Will not run

Can any 1 help mk 1 golf convertible 1.8 gti starts when cold runs rough tho will not idle then stops and won't start plugs are very wet

unplug the 5th injector to start with, maybe its stuck open. has this problem been getting worse or did it just happen one day

Thanks for reply I will try the injector I have only just bought the car as a non runner was told it was just the starter motor was gone so fixed that now have this problem

ok thats gonna make your life hard
main thing is go over all the obvious, give it full ign service plugs, leads, cap, arm etc, oil + filter change etc

look over engine for loose wires and dirty earths, check for any insulating tape too as thats prime clue of wire bodgyness
