will a 5 door tin top fuel filler neck fit a cabby if so what will i need to mod

don't know. not much use i know, but at least you're not being ignored now.

i'm pretty sure they are the same. to the best of my knowledge all mk1's had 9 gallon tanks and they were in the same place, so i'd assume they would fit. not sure if very early ones or later floppies had different tanks?

thers on on ebay nearly up and its only 10? but dont want to bid incase it dont fit

They don't fit but they can be "modified" to fit. By that, I assume either bent, or the end cut off, if its too long. It depends if you want to buy one, then do the mods and possibly repaint it, etc. With the old and new filler neck side by side, you should be able to see the mods required. Others have done it, but similar to Wooders I have no direct experience myself of it. Someone else should be along in the next week or so, who can confirm, though.

No it wont fit, too short.  Easy mod to do by just adding a small extention pipe into it.  Crazyquiff sells a kit made up for doing this on his website if you wanted one.
