Petrol Leak

I filled the car up with petrol the other day. When I came to starting it, the car started, but I herd a leaking noise and the car started to judder. So I quickly turned the ignition off and investigated.

I noticed a puddle underneath the centre of the car, and it was petrol. :dontknow:. I only filled the car up with ?10 of fuel and the tank was near to empty. I didn't know where the leak came from, so I started the car again… and this time no leak..  :dontknow:  strange. I have a feeling something will need replacing soon. Has this happened to anyone?

i had the same problem and it turned out to be a split pipe.so i replaced all the fuel lines just in case  :wink:

cheers drue, I'll need to have a look over the weekend, to see the condition of the pipes.

make sure you double check the pipe that joines the filler neck to the tank as mine was leaking from thair if it is this part that you need get in touch with crazyquiff he will sort you out

I'll also sort you out with fuel lines if you need 'em
