sounds like my back box is blowing a little, rang round a few garages and the cheapest i can get a full system for is around ?210 ish ? seems a little expensive, are there any other alternatives, aftermarket ?

Is something special about your system? Try GSF or Euro car parts for a standard system, I'm sure they are not that dear.
