New Exhaust system

Well after driving to work the other day and having my back box fall off i decided it was time to get a new full system but with soooo many available i wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction (obviously none of that tacky lookin jap shyte) just something classic old skool lookin.
Any help would be muchos appreciated.

No idea on your engine size or old skool look but wont go wrong with a super sprint system. subdued sound and lasts for years.

I've got a stainless steel scorpion twin upswept exhaust on mine from the downpipe back. Bloody loud!!!!  But looks the balls!

H ad a scorpion on my 205 found it too noisy for daily use.

Just fitted a Jetax systemt to mine, sounds ok not very loud but give a bit of a bark when pressing on although it should bed in only done 40 or so miles if that!! fitment was ok ish needed a bit of fettling at the manifold end but nothing too bad, u just need to get it sat right as it keeps banging on the rear pannel, but i recon that can be sorted witha  bit of tweekage plus it doesnt help my golfs on the floor on super hard coil overs and wheels with rubber band tyres

I need a new one for mine too, although it is a cabby. I believe they are different to the GTI, is that right?

Mine needs a front pipe too, although it is like the GTI one here I think.

Does anyone know roughly what a system costs from VAG? Mine is a VAG one and has lasted for years so it might be worth paying a bit more. Some of the prices I have been quoted for a pattern exhaust from tyre/exhaust places seem steep!

Has anyone ever bought a system from GSF? They quoted me ?93 the other day for the downpipe, backbox, gasket and two clamps. But are they any good. If they're just cheap Timax/Walker crap I'd get it discount from my local auto factors.
