New exhaust...?

Morning All,

I'm looking into getting a new exhaust. Thought asking here would be the best in regard to sound advice on which way to head. I would like to just get a brand new one but trying to get some idea of cost. I don't want one like you see on scoobys or anything that's going to rattle out my windows but I wouldn't mind one that make's it purr.

Any input would be appreciated.

Cheers.

ive got an ashley 4-1 and twin box system on my cabby, it took re welding to get it to fit, but i think its because they said the cabby exhaust was the same as the tin top which it wasnt, still now its modified it sounds lovely, not too loud. it was just short of £400 to buy, and im currently trying to get a refund for the mid section due to the mistake, but i recogn ill get at and would still recommend the exhaust :)

Best to go custom built in my opinion.

I had a longlife exhaust last year from base of downpipe and its been amazing.

You get a lifetime warrenty and you get to pick the style, sound and angle of the exhaust.

Any problems with it you take it back and its fixed for free (unless the damage is caused by you)

Thanks for the advice guys. Spoke to couple of places over dinner and prices were coming in at ~£350, so you weren't far off narpsi. Wait for pay day now.  :|

True, I could do with setting up a projects thread really as I'm hoping to have it for a while. Had a clifford G5 alarm system fitted last week for peace of mind which is a fancy bit of kit.
Hoping to get the arches, rear and front bumper touched up soon too where they have received abit of wear and tear. That's going to be another dint into the paycheck.  :|

& Coyote, I will always be keen for a bit of haggling, I'm a yorkshire lad after all.
