Mk1 Fuel pump casings repro's any interest...

Something we've been working on in the background is the remanufacture of the original Fuel pump cradle / casing that the MK1 GTI uses to hold the main pump.

We have them worked  out in GRP, the reason we looked at this first is clearly our use of Carbon, but also the fact that they will outlast the cars probably, not rot etc etc.
The other option we have is metal which we're now also working on, the difference being the metal ones will be the same as the originals, the GRP one wil lhave slightly different shape to brackets, but mouting will be in the same place on both as per the original.

Main question though is how much interest is there for this as a repro item  and if so which would people prefer GRP or metal. Oh, and if continued along the GRP route we could make them in Carbon as well as we would have the tooling available.

Steel would be better and the cheapest option   Never going to see it so ………..
