i personally think they only give good gains when you have a cam/headwork. they do gain power but not enough on a standard engine to warrant the money. raceland manifolds? no idea of quality or performance gains myself. if you do go the 4 branch route (please don't let me put you off) i would use exhaust wrap and find one with small primaries. the ashley ones (also sold by some outlets as competition manifolds) have too large a primary to be effective enough without other engine work.

in terms of the egine i have ported the head for better flow and i am running a audi 2ltr bottom end combined with uprated plugs and leads and a custom air intake, so may be a ashley manifold, will it bolt straight on to the miltek exhaust, are all these things std lengths?

not standard lengths as such, but they do have joining pipes that should btotal the same length as a downpipe.if i recal correctly, the ashley ends in standard pipe diameter, so if the miltek fits to standard downpipe, then yes, it should fit o.k. if you do go ashley, match the ports to the head, as they are a bit irregular. i'd still go for one with smaller primaries ,if i were you.

just wondering what sort of gains u got from the upgrades mentioned? n what money it cost roughly? i'm thinking of some mods myself but don't want to spend loads.
is it useable power with the mods?
cheers damo
