magnex exhaust fitting tips
my backbox snapped today sounding like a right beast. 8) . anyway i have bought a magnex stainless system, thought i would get it fitted professionaly so took it to an exhaust/ tyre garage. yes its blowing, yes it's knocking, they say bring it back and they will have another go.
has anybody got any tips/ advice regards fitting as i will probably do it myself, also my heat shield on my petrol tank has seen better days and is hanging down and touching the exhaust, would it be safe to remove the shield and heat wrap that section of the exhaust ?

the magnex systems are of good quality and as a result easy to fit. they are however, heavy. use good rubbers

ive had a magnex stainless on mine for almost a year now, and i hate to say it, but i have never been able to get it to fit properly! constantly knocking and rattling.
no matter how many times i get underneath the dam thing, the amount of exhaust rubbers i have been through and the amount of bloody knuckles i have recieved! when ever i think ive got it sorted i will drive down the road and it will start rattling again!
bloomin rubbish!
so if you do find a way of sorting it out then please post pics/ let me know how youve done it, cos it that sort of annoying rattle which really makes you hate driving!
ahhhh rant over!
