Loose injectors??

I was tinkering with the golf (1.8gti) last night and noticed that the injectors seem a little loose! might be a silly question but are they meant to be loose i.e a little bit of movement when you waggle it.
All 4 are the same so i did think that they were meant to be loose?

Any advice?

Yep.. sounds about right to me! all mine have a little play.

but try getting them out to do an injector test!  :wink:  :lol:

I always recommend changing the seals - they are so cheap - if they have been in the car for a long time. You will get a bit of side play in early ones (without the small seal at the nozzle end). Pull them out and see if the seals are deformed in any way. Plenty of grease round them when they go in too.
