There's the same number of connectors:
Fuel in
Fuel return
4 cylinders
WUR in and out
5th injector
So I don't understand why the Mk2 one has less outlets. Are you sure its K-Jet, not Digifant?

the fuel system is a k-jet continuos injection (cis) 1.8 ltr (code ev)
and i agree with you on the outlets; i am a newby to the forum and have no idea how to put an image of the said meter head. this unit has 3 outlets on 1 side 4x injectors 1x warm up return 1x large inlet to the side of the pressure relief and i hasten to add it has 1 small inlet/or outlet on its own on the opposite side to the 3 inlets that are together and its this that is the difference to the mk2

Well, I can't make sense of what you're saying. When you agree with me on the outlets, are you saying yours has the same outlets, in which case they don't have a different number? Or they are the same number but in a different position?

the out lets are exactly in the same place but mine has the extra port
so i have actually got 10 ports as to your 9 and its this that makes it
difficult to explain to you as my mk1 karman cabriolet is in the garage
awaiting a replacement fuel distributor and 3 mile away under lock and key; if i had the car at home in my garage i would be able to trace where
this extra port serves;other than trying to put some photos on the forum
which as i said i have no idea how to do as this would probably put you in the picture of what its actually for;
all the fuel metering units i looked at in the breakers yard had as you said
with just the 9 ports the 10th port is not drilled out but a flat face is there
for this application but as i said not used for the mk2 i just wonder if maybe an expert like your self could point me in the right direction as to
if this port could be machined and used in my application? this would be
fantastic as the breakers yard had 7 on the shelf at ?50
