intank lift pump

is there a set dimension for this ? the bit of rubber pipe that the pump attaches to is knackered, how far does the fiter at the bottom need to be of the bottom of the tank ??

Hi Matt, I have my pump to hand as I'm too in the process of renewing my internal pump. The rubber that attaches to the pump is 56mm long and it hangs down 86 mm from the underside of the sender unit.  Hope this helps you, Scoff. ps this is off my 87 gti cab.
