injectors

Anyone got a tip on pulling out the old injectors from an 83 GTI?
I have got the ones out from cylinder 1 and 2 but am having difficulty getting a good enough grip on 3 and 4.
Anyone done this before and struggled with the engine in place? If so what can you recommend?

just some advice to anyone with a similar problem to the one i posted- get yourself an injector puller- a simple device that locates around the injector - then lever over the rocker box cover with a long screwdriver- the injector pops out as easy as anything - couldnt find a stockist in the Uk though had to get one from vee dub specialists in California

Didnt realise you could buy one , i made something similiar using the threaded nut of an old injector line.although only worked if the line was removed first.

Seemed to work ok but I'm sure it's not recommended!

i used molegrips      3/4 was bit pain but pulled air pips off and made job very easy
