injectors? How do you replace....

Right, my Jetta is quite poor on petrol and pretty rough on warm up ive been told also its running rich when rising in the revs, ok at idle.

I was told this "could" be blocked/poor injectors. Tried running som injector cleaner through but no luck there.

Today i sprayed some carb cleaner down at the injectors while the car was running and on about 3 of them the cars idle dropped about 3-400 revs at least  :dontknow: Does this indicate that there is a leak there? Also is it likely to be the seals if they were affecting the idle whilst still seated?


The idle is now very high because i cleaned out the Throttle body which was pretty thick of crap, when refitted they idle went from 1k - 2k :dontknow:  :dontknow: The idle screw on the rear of throttle body is closed all the way so i can only raise the idle not drop it.



BTW, was gonna look at the injector test but dont have anything to read PDF's lol  :roll:

any ideas on the running side of things? new seals?

Im thinking the engine normally revs higher when you find a leak using carb cleaner etc? mine dropped? :roll:
