injector issue, swop 2 types?

ive got two diffrent sets of injectors both came out of 1800GTi lumps.
one set has the top hat thing on the end, and the other set does not.
can you interchange these with the injector seat thats in the head? obv i will use a complete set of one type just wonderd if i have to swop the seats over or not?

Is the top hat thing shiny and on the squirty end? if so they sound like 16v injectors and obviously not correct in the 8v engine.

yea it is, but they came out of my 8v head.
im gona get that money sent of to u tomoz matey,

Later injectors had the top hat , same thing , and do the same thing .

Have a site search simon as i recall this question had a definite answer before .

ok matey chears for that,
now ive got to work out how to do this search as everytime i do a search in brings up a millon and one posts! surely theres a way of bringing up a specific search? to filter out ones that involve one word of your search??

thanks alot, if they dont swop over, ive decided to just buy a new set as they aint that expensive, will let u no how i get on.
