injector

how would i know if an injector seal has gone. i have a mk1 golf cab 1986

my car wont start its like it floods its self i unplug the relay to the fuel pump turn her over on the key and see coughs and splutters and i plug it back in and she starts its getting a little bit annoying can anyone help?

Is it OK if you leave it for a day?

no bin doing 4 a while gettin worse now though no.1 injector seems very loose
