help!

hey guys, i messed around with my carb settings and now my car wont run right, i dont know if its over or underfueling, but if i press the accelerator really quick then it kinda dies for a second before it accelorates (in neutral) the car only idles if choke is on, it sometimes dies down when i slow down and doesnt start too quick, i dont know what to do im so gutted....it was running find and i messed it up somebody PLEASE help me, oh its a 1.1l 1983 mk1

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone (Even Superman!) can help you over the internet!
If you don't know how much you have adjusted it to be able to get it back to normal, then we sure as heck don't.
Bite the bullet and take it to a garage, otherwise, spend a few more hours fiddling, but you will probably still need to get it checked out properly…
