Help please!

Hey    Need a new fuel tank! Is it worth tryin to repair the old one or shall I just get a new one and get it fitted? Also where is the best place to get one from? Have found one on fueltanksdirect for ?98.21 GSF and Europarts dont seem to have one at the moment. Then is it an easy job to fit? Am hearin mixed stories from its an hours job to its a massive job! Local mechanic dont want to know so anyone know of a reliable and honest mechanic in north wales/north west area who would be willing to either repair it or replace it!? Cheers Guys!

If you're stuck, I can swap over the fuel tank, i am on the Wirral (NW) so shouldn't be too far. It is quite an involved job, because you need to remove the rear axle and disconnect the rear brakes too. I don't know why a garage would turn down the work, though? Are they overbooked?
