Help needed - Fuel Pressure Warm up reg: Which way up?

Been a bit of a numpty here and forgot to take a note of which way up the fuel pressure warm up reg should be fitted, (the one on the front of the engine block), when I took it off a week or two back  ops:

The version of ETKA I have shows it mounted with the fuel lines topmost and the electrical connector at the bottom, and the Haynes shows it with the electrical connector at the top, fuel lines at the bottom.

It fits onto the block both ways and connects up no problem either way.

Does it matter which way up it is fitted? I have fitted it with fuel lines at the top and eleccy connector at the bottom as shown in ETKA exploded parts diagram, but now think it was originally fitted the other way.

Reason it is an issue is I don't have enough of the crushable fuel pipe washers left to refit it the other way round so will have to order from VW if I have got it wrong  :roll:

Hoping to fire her up tomorrow with a bit of luck after replacing the fuel filter, some of the fuel hoses and banjo bolts and the warm up reg.
