HELP FOR A NEWBIE

Just read some of the info in the forums and know that someone can help me.

I'm new to the whole Mk1 golf scene and know little about them and what ones are different to the others.

I have aquired a lhasa green 1.6gti that needs a little work before it can return to the road i.e paint work cos it doesnt have any and it wont start cos the fuel pump is knackered.

It is a k-jettronnic car and what i want to know is does it have a mechanical fuel pump or an electrical one? also where is the best place to get one? and anyone know of good non-ripoff sprayer around weybridge surrey? :dontknow:

G S F the best place to get it   and needs to be  a electic one i got a bosch  one for mine u propably wanna replace the relay at same time   i got both parts for under a 1er  check the tank lines and filler neck for rust mate hope this helps pete

I bought the car off a friend and he has replaced all the filler neck with a stainless version? looks shiney!! i will be replacing the lines aswell these GSF parts aswell?
