gti manifold fir non gti head?

i wouldnt mind using the gti manifold on my non gti head due to the annoying c clip things
anyone no if the manifold fits the head? i no ill have to swop down pipes aswell.

as far as i know its a bolt on swap……..so is the turbo diesel manifold….  :twisted:

funnily enough, we considered changing the one on the 1.5 over to a spare gti one too………i've bought the c clip separator tool now though…..better than snapping studs off in the block in a haze of oil, rust and swearing.

what else whould be needed to put this on then? i mean turbo wise.

that could be tempting u no! carbs on turbo, been done before?

Of course it has, what do you think they did before fuel injection !?  

Lots of different things need to be done, but its 6am and im going to bed…
