Fuel pump wont start

Help needed please!!
I v e just fitted a new battery to my 1979 mk1 GTi.
It started lovely, then i turned it off and started it again and the fuel pump wont start. I know its not starting cos its so bloody noisy when it does go!!
I ve done a test at the plug on top of the fuel pump and its got no power to it. Can someone tell me which fuse and which relay it is on an early GTi please? I ve checked all the fuses i can find, none seem to be blown.

There's a re;ay with a fuse on top of it. This is the fuel pump relay.

thanks mate, traced the wiring back and found a poor connection on an in line fuse. Its all a bit confusing witht hte engine conversion, wirings not great and by no means standard!!
