Fuel pump
Timing is out
Fuel blockage
Breather problems
Airleak or Incorrect mixture
Faulty hall sender (dizzy)
Faulty iginition module (see haynes for quick test)
Low fuel pressure (faulty pump)
I have had a faulty pump which allowed the car to start but would miss, backfire and stall when driven, as volkswarren mentioned they can die slowly, but you would be unlucky to have pair if you have changed it. You say you have done injector test does it act like video below. Also had dizzy problem but this would just die instantly, tacho dropping to zero.
Does it start ok after it has died or do you have to wait before it will start again?

it will start again after dying, and will idle smoothly i can increase the rpm slowly but as soon as she reaches the 1200rpm mark she cuts out..the pump seems ok the injectors pumped out a lot of petrol when i tested them just like the video..do you think it could be some kind of air /breather problem? because the fuel delivery seems ok? any help is greatly appreciated guys..thanks for the replies
