Fuel Pump Problem
Then car then cut out and would not start smack back in the middle of Maidstone right on a roundabout causing a few traffic problems. Called RAC and got a very knowledgeable guy who called the problem straight away.
So do i have to get a new pump or is it likely to be a blockage ?
I think i know i need a new pump but heres hoping !!

Can be hard to get the pump out as the fitting corrode into place - buy the unions and washers - will save you a little time
part nos 533201220 comes complete with the unions - you'll also need the two sealing washers part nos N0138128.
The braided line with the unions is ?25 - the washers are 22p each.
Hope this helps

The swirl pot in the tank is clear now, as is the pick up pipe, but it seems to be struggling to get fuel out the tank - fuel level in the filter is a lot lower than usual
So my question is - is the pump gravity fed from the tank, or does it suck the fuel out?
