FUEL PROBLEM

HI im havin a fuel problem with 1.8 cab had a bad misfire and a new set of injectors cured this problem, now it runs ok for as long as you want but when you turn it off it wont start again for a while then out of the blue it starts again and runs fine. all electrics are spot on fuel pump working etc. have had the car checked at three good garages!! they cant put thier finger on the problem. It has been sugested that it could be the fuel metering head, could this cause these symptoms? please help the AA sick of me now.

its not a carb if you have a pump and injeturs

1.8 gti cabriolet any ideas?

try the brown sender on the water pipe on the front of your engine

what is the sender for? is there a way of bypasing it or testing it?

its a loop system to your 5th injector,
is your filler neck rusty?

yes howd you guess, think thats y the injectors were goosed

you need to clean the whole fuel system, or this will keep happening
